Is that really serious?

Here is the beautiful house I have just drawn for a stupid personality test…
(http://www.dessinetamaison.com/)

And here are the results:

* I am sensitive and indecisive
* I can easily make friends
* I sometimes like to be on my own but I don't like to be on my own for too long
* I'm lookinf for "my prince charmant" (because of the flower )
* I tend to unserestimate myself

The scariest thing is…that is complely true (except for the whole looking for prince charming thing)

Quite silly but…funny anyway!

Hello sunshines!!!!

OMG!!!!!!!

It's been such a long time since I last posted here!

But I didn't forget you, my LJ friends!

It is just that I finally grew up…

I gave up on SV because Rosey decided to follow his own path (and God only know how he is right!) & the whole SV things really sucks without him! there is not such things to talk about now that both Luthors are gone. I also heard Millar & Gough will not take part in season 8, as well as Laura/Kara!

Hum…I went to england 3 weeks ago in worthing and I had a blast. I am going to London next wek, for my job (I am actually working as a translator for a huge company).

I hope that you are doing fine!

Loads of kisses from your Lolita

Smallville 7.15 Veritas

Dear LJ readers,

I am really sorry for not posting soon. The sun is hitting hard on my lazy brain and all I think about is wandering in Paris and sleeping and drinking and sunbathing (though I don't really need that!).

My review of Veritas (aired on March 27th) would be rather short.

What I like most about the episode is the return of our A.I bad ass Brainiac.

Veritas is also a kind of “flashback” episode because we get the chance to see little Lex, little Oliver, little Patricia and little Jason playing seek and hide all together. The cutest thing I have ever seen!

We are explained the birth of the secret organization Veritas. This organization gathers Lionel Luthor, Robert Queen (Oliver's father) and Edward Teague (Jason's father). Lionel charged Robert & Edward of conspiracy. He noticed that the two had an envelope & agreed not to open it until they prove the existence of the Traveler. Hearing a sound, they all leave the room. Just after a moment, Edward Teague holds a key that is in fact Patricia's in the present. Lex, who reminds him of this time, asks his assistant to go to Zurich, Switzerland, to find the safe the keys belongs to.

Meanwhile, at the barn, Kara confronts Brainiac who first appeared as a hawk. He offers Kara to build another Krypton but Blondie refuses. Clark then enters and chases Brainiac who flies away in super-speed. Clark then wonders if Brainiac wasn't working in pairs with Kara's father but she tells him she didn't think so. She then proposes him to teach him how to fly (at last!), without much success.

At the Daily Planet, Lois & Jimmy decided to work together on Patricia Swann's death. They dressed themselves as Luthorcorp's workers and sneak into Lionel's office so they questions about Swann's death. But Lionel refuses to talk to them. He asks the security to kick them out Luthorcorp. Few minutes later, he removes his locket which contains a key.

I don't know if you heard that but Kristin Kreuk had a role in a new direct to DVD flick inspired from a video game, “Street Fighter”. So, she wasn't able to shoot the whole season.

And here is my point. The reason for her disappearance is Brainiac. While Lana was working in Isis foundation, Brainiac attacks her and put her under his control. Later, when Clark returns to the barn, Clark notices Lana’s eyes turned silver and that she is harmless (the girl doesn't even notice she burnt her hands!). When Kara arrives to the barn, Lana writes a note in kryptonian to her which says Kara must go to the Daily Planet. Kara super speeds to Metropolis.

Meanwhile, Lois & Jimmy discover that Lionel told them the truth : he did not plan Patricia Swann's death. Lex did. They find an envelope on Patricia's driver and a photo proving the driver was hired by Lex.

Lex is facing trouble discovering the truth about Veritas because the bank asks two keys in order to have access to the high security safe. He then remembers his father recovered a keys from the Queens just after their death. That was the day Lex lost his hair.

We then see Kara on the roof of the Planet. She is ready to go with Brainiac but Clark comes on time to make her change her mind. Brainiac blackmail Clark saying he is the only one who is able to cure Lana. Kara and Brainiac then escape together and there is a huge explosion just after their flying away.

In the finale scene, Lionel goes to see Chloe to say he changed and that he is not the man he used to be mainly because Jor-El chose him as a vessel. His aim is not to hurt Clark but to protect him. He wants Chloe to know Clark shouldn't turn his back on Jor-El or he would be in danger. But Chloe doesn't believe him and turn his back on him to join Clark at the clinic where he brought Lana. She is still under Brainiac's control. And there is not much hope for her to cure.

Conclusion: A+

Great episode! First because we won't see Lana for a long time! Just kidding! Then, it is always good to see Brainiac. I love the way he shows Clark how his “humanity” weakens him. And finally, the closer Lex gets to Clark's secret, the better!

Sweetness for your ears:

The Pupinni Sisters, Adele & Duffy.

La Grande-Bretagne, pépinière de talents?

The Pupinni Sisters : Betcha Bottom Dollar & The Rise and Fall of Ruby Woo.

Non !

Le génie des albums Betcha Bottom Dollar et The rise & The Fall of Ruby Woo?

Sandman" [in Betcha bottom dollar].

“I will survive”, ça vous rappelle quelque chose? Oui! Gloria Gaynor! Les Puppini l'ont aussi reprise! Magnifique de bout en bout. Et ces vocalises! Et enfin "Sway ", mon morceau préféré. Repris par les Pussycat Dolls sur PCD. Mais au Pussycat, je préfère les Pupinni. Beaucoup plus sensuelle, beaucoup moins racoleuse. Tellement plus réussie.

Mon avis: 18/20 à Betcha Bottom Dollar. Mention spéciale aux morceaux "Sisters", "Mr. Sandman", "I will survive" et "Sway".

19/20 à The Rise & The Fall of Ruby Woo avec mention spéciale pour les morceaux « Spooky », « Walk like an Egyptian » et bien sûr « Crazy in love ».

Duffy : Rockferry

Car, l'amour selon Duffy est un jeu où il y a toujours un perdant, quelqu'un qui souffre "I am leaving you for the last time baby /You think you're loving but you don't love me/I have been confused in my mind lately/ You think you're loving but I want to be free/ Baby you hurt me" [in "Warwick Avenue"].

Mon avis: 19/20. Jetez vous sur les morceaux "Rockferry", "Warwick Avenue", "Delayed Devotion" et "Scared ".

Best for Last!!!!

Les paroles de la chanson d'ouverture, Daydreams, nous disent "there's no way I could describe him" (ou plutôt it car je parle ici de l'album!).

Here I am !

  • May. 6th, 2008 at 4:37 PM

Hello LJ readers,

What a wonderful weather in Paris ! I can, at last, wear mini skirts and light dresses without tights ! And this is the meaning of hapiness for me!

To all the people who wondered day and night what the hell I look like : here I am! Laughs ! I look so silly on this damn picture. But hey, who is gonna praised me if I don't do it myself?

Hum… I have some reviews to write, I am pretty late and I'm sorry! I have some 6 days off and i'll be able to update. But I have to admit I am pretty bored with Smallville. Especially when I realized Our Boy leaves the show (for more information go on Hamlat's Blog).

Well, i am writing to you when I am supposed to be working!

Take care

xoxo

Camille : Music Hole

Que dire du titre « Home Is Where It Hurts »!

Car c'est ça la « patte » Camille: des paroles simples, souvent répétées - « I didn't get it from a lord, but I know I got it, I know I got it »[in « Gospel With No Lord »] »- sonnant comme un leitmotiv.

Smallville 7.14 Traveler

My dear LJ readers

I apologise for not posting sooner but I have some issues with my internet . And of course, no internet, no Smallville. No Smallville, no review.

I was able to catch some hints and watch the four episodes I've missed : Traveler, Veritas, Sleeper and Descent.

Hum…Two things. I used to say that season 3 was the best season of Smallville ever, especially for Lex. But I was wrong, I really really think that Season 7 is Lex's. At lest, It is the birth of the real Lex Luthor: ruthless, manipulative, totally overshadowed by darkness. Sigh…Our boy (Michael) just took my breath away.

The other thing is that Lionel has finally passed away. And that's the real tragedy. I don't know why he had to die. Why didn't he escape from Smallville and changed his name as it was written in older versions of Superman. I know Lex killing his father is one step further to become the “comical” Lex but…I think John Glover's character should have had a more “descent” ending.

Traveler is the 14th episode of Smallville. The title is an echo to Clark and his travel from Krypton to Earth. We finally discover a little bit about Veritas.

Clark is attacked and locked in a green kryptonite cell and Lionel -who was supposed to be Clark allie until episode 13th – is said to be the head of this trap.

Meanwhile, a new character is introduced : Patricia Swann, the daughter of Professor Swann. I don't know where the hell this comes from, but, to me, it makes no sense. If Professor Swann had ever had a daughter, shouldn't we have heard of her before? Yeah, we're in Smallville!

Veritas is a kind of big organisation where The Teagues, The Queens and The Luthors somehow talked about The Traveler who is nothing less than Clark. But most of this organisation is now six feet under and Patricia charges Lionel of murdering them all. She has some evidence and threatens Lionel with showing them if he doesn't free Clark.

John glover's performance was excellent as usual. But our new comer, Gina Holden reminded me of Laura VanderVoort at her beginning. She has a true tendency of play her character over. She is really beautiful but I wish her beauty didn't shadow her smartness over. But, hey, all girls cannot be like Chloe, right?

Speaking of, Traveler was the occasion to see some girl power. Chloe and Lana team up to save Clark. And that's really cool. It's good to see Lana and Chloe together again and for once I didn't have the feeling they were fighting over Clark like two children over the same toy. That was great. And Kristin did a great job. She is not stuck in that “Stepford Wife” role. She is at last able to support herself. She even threatens Lionel with killing Lex! But that was not necessary. And no need to say that Allison's wardrobe and make up were great as well as her job. And her character still has this great sense of humour. I wish Lana was that funny. She is a way too cold. Anyway, good to see active Lana!

Meanwhile, Kara still hasn't recovered from her memory loss. She is somehow reluctant to undergo Lex's process but eventually agrees. Lex however asks the doctor to lock the room where the process has place if she ever feels Kara doubting.

Lex and Patricia finally meet at the mansion. Patricia gives Lex a painting he did when he was a kid. It as a “V” on it which suggests the organisation “Veritas”. Lex later confronts his father saying he killed all the members of “Veritas”. Being trapped by both his son and Patricia, he calls the latest to make a deal.

As Lex is preparing the process for Kara to recover her memory, Lana and Chloe draw a plan to free her. They manage to cut off the electricity so the process fails and take Kara away.

Chloe takes the decision to bring Kara to the Fortress so Jor-El give her powers back. The question is : when did Chloe learn how to go the fortress? I remember she was accidentally brought in at the end of season 4 but I didn't know when still had memories of that! But hey, we're in Smallville! Chloe even talks to Clark's father saying she loved her son and that Kara needs to have her powers back so she can save him. According to me the better scene of the episode! This is the evidence that when you want to save someone you love, you don't necessarily need super powers. The power of love is the only that counts!

The special effects were tremendous, I loved seeing this sheer light surrounding Kara. And, she is so much more Super girl with her strength! Congratulations Miss Vandervoort!

Meanwhile, Pierce harms Clark more and more…And Patricia would give the evidence to Lionel unless she sees Clark face to face. But she is hit on the head and faints. Lionel takes the evidence. Lionel orders Pierce to free Clark but he refused considering Clark is a meteor freak. He knocks Lionel and pushed the level of the kryptonite radiation to 100%.

Kara arrives on time and destroys it thanks to her heat vision. Pierce tempts to shoot both Lionel and Kara but he is stopped and eventually dies.

In the final scenes of the episodes, Clark meets Patricia. She gives him the diary her father's used to keep. There are some notes in kryptonian in it saying the traveler would eventually change the world (in other word, put that fu**ing red cape and blue tights!) and warns him against Lionel.

This episode is also then end of the Clark/ Lionel “partnership” due to the torture that Clark went under. Though Lionel says that cage was for other kryptonians, Clark doesn't believe him.

In the last scene, Kara is finally given her bracelet back. She has a great talk with Clark. He (at last) admitted that The Luthors are “lost causes” and that Kara should pay more attention.

Meanwhile, Patricia is shot dead by her driver over a bridge. And I guess Lex may be the head of this murder he watches her bloody locket and his painting.

Conclusion: Traveler was a good episode. A lot of action and violence, but also a great message : even an hero, as strong as he can be, has weaknesses. And some great ladies to save him! Who said ladies didn't kick ass!

xoxo

Smallville Review (at last!)

Smallville 7.13 « Hero »

My dear LJ readers,

Hope it's not too late to apologize for my not posting the review of Hero (please tell me you've noticed the pun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!).

Because, in addition of the returning of my beloved Pete Ross, Smallville is welcoming the rock band « One Republic » who is best known for singing « It's too late to apologiiize, it's too laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate! Ha ha…

Well, the episode begins with a concert where Jimmy and Kara « blondie » Kent remind each other of their past together. The fact is that Kara hasn't recovered her memory yet.

And then, Pete « The Boss » Ross appears, and the sun's shining over Smallville is even brighter. He still have this chubby face. But gee…I still hate the way he chews that gum!

I stressed « that » because it gives Pete some powers : he gained some elasicity and saves blondie from being smashed! And, lucky him, Jimmy took a picture .

Back to the Kents' house now. Have I already told you how much I hated SV's Clark Kent for being such an hypocrite. He is lying over and over and blames Lex for that. Who could she turn to when his own cousin is lying like sh***to her? And for once in SV (well, maybe twice), Lana speaks the truth : Lex found her while Clark was busy searching into Lex's mind!

Be close to your friends and to your enemy closer. Eventhough Clark is not Lionel's enemy, he remained close enough to clark to gather all the informations he needed. Lionel is a genius. I just knew he was playing a game on Clark and that he was in fact as wittily bad as Luthor can be. The guy owes the bracelet in a safe! Awww…Too bad he had to pass away!

And then, Pete again…The way he cuddles Lana is just too cute, knowing they somehow got married in the comics. And I didn't really understand the Young and the Restless (Les Feux de l'Amour for the french people) effect after Pete's asking why was Lionel here. Why didn't Clark told hi he knew everything about his extra-terrestrial origins and so on…But Lana looks at Clark and Clark looks at Lana, huge blank, « it's a long story » line, blank and then…

Lex!!!!!

Only God knows how much I love this character and how genuine Lex can be. He is manipulative, but always subtle and gentle. An iron hand in a velvet glove. And that's the greatest strenght of this character (in addition to his incredible hotness!). Just look at the way Kara gets slowly trapped in Lex's machination. That's pure genius!

And how Lana and Clark get stuck in their own game (there is a french expression telling « avoir le cul entre deux chaises »). Not telling Kara the truth yet saying Lex's a liar. But how can they prove that without telling Kara the truth? And Lana and Clark finally find themselves as being the liars.

And – being fully objective- Lex does not lie, he is just rearranging the truth to get what he wants. All the things he tells Kara are true : the barn, the bracelet, the symbols…

Our boy is definitly all brains.

Back to Pete and Clark. I don't know for you, readers, but Clark is quite harsh toward Pete. I know he's been gone for three years but…I felt like Clark's answer was like « you have nothing to say about Lionel's being in my kitchen because you've been gone ». I felt like Clark thought Pete let him down…But he didn't actually. Clark should understand why Pete is still mad. Lionel depraves his family off all that they own! Not to talk about the burden of Clark's secret! Oliver Queen was not that wrong when he said Clark was only thinking about himself.

And thanks god, Pete ireminds Clark of his duty : he has to become Superman (even if it is not said like that).

Well, it is however nice to see some Chlimmy again! They get along so well together. And my Daily Planet alter ego is lovely, as usual. Red suits her very well and her make-up & hairdo are just perfect. And Chloe is very funny in this episode -  « chewing gum, it's not a secret anymore ».

And in addition to chlimmy, there is also some chlex! It's been ages since the two characters shared a scene together. Lex hacked Chloe's files and, of course, the phot Jimmy had sent to her. It is good to see someone who can challenge Lex's self assurance. But Lex takes full advantage of his position and threatens Chloé with kicking her ass off the Daily Planet. And,

Chloé calls her boss « Lex ». Shouldn't it be « Mr. Luthor »?

After viewing the next scene with Jimmy and « C.K », I just had to ask myself this question? Does Clark really care about Pete's savety or is he bothered with the fact Pete could bear his new status better that he ever would? And well, I guess if people realises Pete could save the world with his powers, they'll see Pete as a hero rather than a freak! And Jimmy is definitly right when he says the world needs a hero.

And, there was something strange with the kryptonite : Clark gets sick at first and then looks perfectly well…with kryptonite at his feet! Is there something I missed?

It was great to see Pete and Chloé hugging. I mean, I still have in mind the kiss they shared in season 3 just before he leaves Smallville. It was so damn cute! And look at the way Pete's flattering Chloé…Cute, cute, cute!

But, the problem with that scene is how didn't anyone noticed Pete's go-go gadget powers! The room was full of people!

And their discussion about secrets is one of the key moment of this episode. because sure it isn't about Clark but also about Chloé. Even is she doesn't admit it, Chloé shares Pete's point of view. She had to lie for Clark and put her life in danger to protect his secret. And, Chloé has just followed Pete's step by telling Jimmy she was meteor-infected.

And the worst liar award goes to…Lana Lang!

Wow…Lies over lies, that's such a shame! I mean, this scene was not meant to be funny, right? But Lana's such a bad liar…And the more Kara is showing her evidence, the more she lies! Yet, Lex has great manipulative skills. And then Lana is trapped, she can't prove anything without saying Kara she a kryptonian.

Meanwhile, Pete is covering for Chloé by sending a massive virus through the DP network! And then, the greatest scene of the episode. Lex threatens to tell the world about Chloe's ability if Pete doesn't bring him Kara's bracelet, locked into Lionel's safe.

It's funny to see Lex isn't always that tortured character who blames the whole world for his baldness. He also has a great sense of humor. Not only that, Michael's body language is also what makes Lex a great character. I just love the line « I control Chloe's fate ». His peformance was great, as usual. I'm just fed up with writing this, sometimes…

And once again, the truth is just blowing into Clark's face! Lionel stabbed him in the back. And things are gonna worse for him now that he knows everything about his secret an his past life in Krypton.

Yet, I don't know if Pete is doing the right thing when he exposes Clark to Kryptonite. I mean if Lex had to discover Clark's secret, he'd have done it for quite a while now, don't you think so?

Pete eventually meets Lex in the gum factory (without the bracelet). And here we are again, one of the greatest S.M scene of Smallville ever. Lot of body talk between Pete, Lex and one of his minion. Hard times for Lex at the beginning (Pete is choking him) and hard times for Pete at the end (he is somehow tortured by Lex's minion). And hard time for Lex and his minion (he is somehow thrown in the air by « superspeedy » Clark).

And this typical happy ending, Pete saying he acted like a fool and clark saying he is sorry, bla, bla, bla…However, I just love his apology to Chloé. It was lo-ve-ly! Hi, hi…And this rose…Chloé is the only one to be grateful! There' no reason to hate this girl!

And, please tell me if I'm mistaken but there might be some Chlimmy in the air! Can't you feel it? Fresh, cute, aaaaaaaaaaaah, it makes me feel good! Hope Jimmy isn't going back to Chloe just because it didn't work with Kara...

As much as seeing Kara being trapped by Lex! Well, I guess I'd have been blinden by such hotness too but…This smirk…Guess Clark is gonna face some troubles!

I think « Hero » derves an A. The story was good and well written. Being a hero has not only good sides. It also brings loads of bad ones. It was fun and it was good to see Pete « The Boss » Ross again. Sam Jones III did a great job and I still wonder why he had to leave Smallville.

Xoxo

Lolita Young.

Alive and kicking!

My dear LJ buddies,

It's been ages since my last post, right?

I took some time off, in Ireland after my moving to Paris, and I had a blast.

I'm back and ready to review the last SV episodes. It's been  two weeks since I saw Hero (with Pete ross) and I don't remeber it so i'll have to watch it again.

And gee... I have realized I am so late on the downloading! I may be three or four episodes late! And the season appears to be longer (almost 20 episodes).

The sun is shining on Paris and I can at least walk without an umbrella in my bag! I feel good!

And I hope everything is fine for you too!

I'm not dead...

  • Mar. 30th, 2008 at 9:53 AM

...just a little overbooked.

I'm moving to Paris and all my stuff are packed! I'm actually two episodes left (I'm talking about Smallville!).

Yet Hero was a pretty good episode! I was glad to see Pete ross again & the way he gave Clark troubles was cool. this guy really needs to be shaken up. HE IS MEANT TO BE SUPERMAN !!!!!
And, of course, if you like your Lex rough and tough, that is just the perfect episode. the way he can manipulate people is pure genius. Look at this poor Kara, asking if she can stay in the mansion. Sure Luthor Jr would take fully advantage of it.
You know, Lex is sugar to bees : no one can stay away from him. It is a kind of attraction you can't prevent. I don't know if it is the main feature of Lex's character or if it is because of Michael...
I think it is both.

Hugs to all my LJ buddies.

hope to talk to you soon. I may not have an internet connection right now!

Hey Rosey lovers,

I hope you ALL have a nice weekend. Holidays are soon over for me and i'll have to go back to work (I am an english teacher in Paris).

I wanted to focus on one picture of Rpsey I once found on his offical site (which is now closed). Just look at it.

A girl notices rosey had an hicky on his neck. As as far I am concerned, I think it is a trace of pink lipstick. Do you see the woman on the back of the picture ? I guess this woman kissed Rosey on the neck. And do you recognize this woman ?

It is Michael's mum !!!!! Ain't that sweet ?

Laughs

Smallville Review (A +)

  • Mar. 8th, 2008 at 2:50 PM

Smallville 7*12 « Fracture »

First of all LJ buddies, I have great news. It seems there would be two more episodes of Smallville ! So, « Veritas » won't be the episode finale ! Yet, it seems that one of the permanent cast member won't appear and I guess it is Michael for he has some plans. For more informations, go on Hamlat LJ.

And then, here is one more review of Smallville. The episode is named Fracture. Well, in french, it is the word to describe when one of your bone is broken. In English, gee, I don't know…Maybe it is the line that separate right from wrong…

Because, yes, « Fracture » is a Lex-centric. Lex is shot, again *sighs*

Well, where most of human being would die at once, Lex is immediatly driven to the Smallville Medical Center. Ha ha ha ha, and when did this small building turned into Cook County ? Isn't Smallville supposed to be a little town in the country ? Why wasn't Lex driven to Metropolis ? We're in Smallville, guys ! So enough with those meaningless details.

Why did Lex was shot gain ? Well, execpt from the fact that he is incredibly hot and so much more intelligent that most of the unhabitants of Smallville and Metropolis reunited, our favorite master-mind bypassed everybody by finding Kara Kent in Detroit. Well, not everybody because Lois was following him. And they team up to find her.

The girl is amnesiac and don't even remember she is from Krypton. And a silly psycho stalker, named Finley, fell in love with her ( I recently learnt that the guy is Laura Vandervoort real boyfriend !) and won't let « baldie » go away with her.

And just after a short session of « who uses his gun better  (Lex does it better, Lex does it better!!!!!!!!) », Lex falls with a bullet between his eyes.

Gosh, I hate to say this but i expected so much more of that episode that this Lex is not good not yet bad. I thought he'd crossed the line long ago. But he didn't. In fact, Alexander is still alive and have a chubby kid like appearence. It bothered me a little because I think the episode from season 4, « Onyx » was so much better…

But let me start from the beginning…

Lana discovers that Luthorcorp have built a system to question terrorists by getting into their head. Litteraly. And this process would be tested on Lex. But the little problem is that most of the people who went under this process died. But

We're in Smallville !!!!!!!

And nobody is gonna die, fellows. Clark decide to go under this process and goes into his lover his former friend's mind. The only way he could escape is a red door.

And that is when the real spectacle begins.

I first thought the scenarist would have chosesn to represent Lex's mind by using a kind of Labyrint for Lex is a complex character. But they chose to represent it by long dark corridor and doors. Some places are enlighted and some are dark.

I just love the scene where Tom is looking throught hole and when he sees what happened to be Kara in fact, in the first episode.

And I just loved the witty « Linda…Doesn't suit you » Lex. He is so damn hot in this scene.

*Looking around for a drooling tub*

I almost had a heart attack when Lex appears with his white suit ! Litteraly ! He is not particulary hot in white but he was sudden and my heart just went out of my chest. Hum…I think Michael overplayed a little the « get out of my head » .

And the little Alexander is kinda cute. I first thought tht Lex's inner conflict would have been better with two adults but I'm not that sure now.

The scene when Lionel bullies lil' Alexander to know who opened his briefcase made total sense to me to understand why Lex is what is is now. And the pain he feels when he denounces his mom, and when he sees his parents fight, and how harsh his mom is to him…But, Freud said it before I did, didn't he ? All adult inner conflicts usually start in childhood.

Back to Big Lex, now. The guy is kinda flirting with Kara, don't you think so ? And much to Clark's displeasure !

And finally, Lois « Word Girl » Lane arrives ! « I never would have guess a secret rendez-vous with Clark's cousin ». I love this girl ! And I forget one point, Lex is damn hot in that blue shirt ! Hi hi !

Back to Bad Lex ! « Forgive me I've been a terrible host, let me give you the grand tour ». And what a grand tour, our farmboy has the chance to see a real « porn », starring Lex and Lana. Ter-ri-fic ! For us of course, not for Clark ! Yet, I didn't know Lana liked the cow-girl position. I though our famous SV princess would like missionnary better. In fact, Lex Luthor is higly disappointing here. In my deepest fantasy, our boy liked the positon in which you cannot see the face of the one you f***.

« I knew a voyeur was looking behind a telescope » is a an allusion to Season 1, I guess because Clark couldn't jerk his **** without ogling at Lana with his telescope. Laughs.

There are some times when I'd love to be Chloe sullivan. Especially when she proves to clark Lana acts like a dumbass and when she touches so softly Lex's bare chest… Yum, yum

And, here we are again…There's something in Smallville I truly cannot understand…Clark and Chloé had so many occasions to get rid of Lex and when they (or Lionel) eventually manged to do it, they save him…But Chloé was right to shut Clark's mouthpiece…She saved his boyfriend…Awwww, and the Clex scene just after was the cutest of Smallville's episode. I was just thinking of one thing : clark got inside of Lex ! Isn't that a pure gay thing ?

The last scne between Kara and Lex was a good one. I liked the parrallel between Kara and Lex and the feeling that Clark is hiding something from them. And theline « As his former best lover [sorry], best friend, I know the feeling too well. »

And, yes, Lex is smirking. You know, he smiles but his mouth goes on one side…And this means he has evil plans behind his mind. Love this smirk, I missed it really.

Well, It's a good episode, not one of the best because everything is so « déja-vu ».

I would not give Natalie Cosco two high thumbs for Michael's make up because it is obvious that M. Luthor is full of testosterone (we can see is facial hair marks). But her work on the ladies goes better and better. Chloé looked lovely with that pink lipstick, and Kara looked good too.

A call for all our greastest Fan Fic writers :

There is quite a lot to write on with Personna because this episode is the gayest of Season 7 !

  • Mar. 4th, 2008 at 4:12 PM

I was a bit pissed off when Rosey said, during the Jules Verne festival, that season 7 would be his last. I was wondering what SV would become without him and if i was going to watch it once Rosey'd waved his hand.
I read on KS that SV would eventually be renewed for a new season…

I've changed my mind…I now think Lex Luthor is a kind of "carcan" from which Rosey had to escape. And Lord knows  I was right. Michael Rosenbaum is a real genius. And I am objective. I would have the same speech if I was "rosey virgin". The kid is fucking good.

This is crazy talk because even people who loathes SV (that is to say my boyfriend) eventually recognizes Rosey's talent.
Shear Love makes no exception. I won't say too much, I don't wanna spoil your pleasure. But this short movie is the crackiest thing I've ever seen (if i put my nephew dancing tecktonic apart).

One of my LJ buddie, [info]lexalicious70, had the chance to meet Michael Rosenbaum in Seatlle. He took part, like he does every year, to the Hockey Challenge.

I don't know if he played himself hut there are quite funny videos of him on youtube.com

Lexalicous70 told us about her meeting with him and that is so damn cute I am not even resentful, just thinking of her holding his hand and smiling at him…You all know I am a freakin' smell fetish and I asked her how he smelled…laughs.
She also posted some great pictures of him…and the guy looks great. He has hair !!!!! Hi, hi, hi…

I hope he would go back to France. We have no hockey team (well…I don't know in fact French people are football [ soccer for my american buddies] and rugby fans, we don't talk of hockey so much).

Thanks to Lexaliciousfor sharing her memories with us.

Smallville Review

  • Feb. 25th, 2008 at 12:24 PM

 Smallville 7*11 « Siren »

First of all, LJ readers, sorry for the lack of updates. I've been very busy and my boss seems to believe I am a kind of puppet : she changed my schedule three times in one month !

Two weeks ago, SV finally went sexy with the cominf of Black Canary ! A young woman whio is able of « ear shaterring » with her supersonic shout.

Despite some people have higly critized her outfit, I think it was perfect ! First of all, I love fishnets ! I always wear those type of pantyhose ! They are so sexy !

Second reason, Alaina Kalanj has a won-der-ful body ! This outfit was definitly made for her ! The brunette wig and the green dress, the makeup were also perfect on Dinah Lance ! The costume designer did a great job. As well as the make-up artist, Natalie Cosco ! Congrats !

I don't know much about Black Canary for I didn't read comics where she appeared but the lady is what SV needed : she is smart, sexy, witty (as when she first confronts Green Arrow ont the top of the Daily Planet) and she is the only woman (as far as i know) that kicked Clark's ass ! Well, not exactly his ass for she used her supersonic shout !

And wow, this final scene with Green Arrow ! We just know that a kind of chemistry is going on ! Hope to see Dinah Lance in Green Arrow spin-off !

Let's introduce the character : she is a vigilante for Lex. She caught Chloé red handed hacking Lex material for her new boss : Oliver Queen. After a short meeting with Lex, who made her believe « The Emeraud Archer » was a terrorist, her main aim is to put him down…until she found out Oliver's the good guy.

I was also glad to see Justin Hartley as Oliver Queen. Especially in this shirtless scene with Lois. Yum, yum, yum…And Lois finally discovers Ollie is Green Arrow !

And that finally scene where they finally broke up for good…Heart breaking !

I don't know what the matter with Clark. Does he really think he can save the worl without a scratch ? And once again, Oliver prove my point. I don't even know if Clark is aware of his destiny. He blames Oliver by putting chloé in danger ! And what is he doing until season four (when Chloé broke into Lex' mansion to save Clark) ! Have he ever put Chloe in danger ! Come on Clark !!! And Chloé doesn't seem really traumatized !

Meanwhile, Lana wears glasses. And she looks so sexy with them. But please Kristin,

P.O.W, P.O.W, P.O.W !!!!! (Put On Weigh).

Stop losing weight. You look so skinny ! Where have those pounds gone! She may look skinny but she has gained a sense of humor ! She look so « Grace Kelly » like, you know : cold and yet very sensual !

I loved Kristin's performance ! The « We have caller ID » line was great ! Yet, I don't think she should be wearing so much black ! Please leave this color for your ex-husband, Miss !

And, in my opinion, Clark is very harsh to her. Why is he constantly making Lana feeling guilty ? The girl is only human. My point is she believed it was Clark. Everyone could have been

deceived…And yes, Lana, Clark is defintly an hypocrite. He is the one who have been lying all along to every people in Smallville and he blames Lana for that. Clark, you can be such an ass sometimes ! And saying Lana is the one who fell for Lex. Should she apologize for the sexiest guy in Smallville ! If you were doing your job, Clark, Lana would be with you !

Another interesting scene, when Chloe tells Clark Dinah Lance can be as blonde as she really is (laughs). Look at Clark's face : he is looking at Chloé as if he was looking for brunette roots over her head ! Laughs. That scene kills me. I couldn't help laughing…Like « yeah, you look like a real blonde ».

And what the hell of hacking a fund transfer without haching the bank system ! Come on Chloe, we all know you are a genius but…this doesn't make sense at all !

And how come Lana and Chloe have the same trench-coat ?

For girls only.

Seems like our bald hottie has been taught karate or kung-fu (takwendo maybe ?). He has a pretty nasty fight with our Emerauld Archer. So sexy…Lex isn't bad at all at giving punches but he loses anyway. And yes, he is hurt, once again ! Hope he got a prize for his going to SV Medical center in every episode !

Well, as far as Lex's concerned, I am not able to write any word about Michael performance's because he didn't have such great lines and didn't appeared much in the episode. But Lex is our bald hottie, isn't he ? I would always praised him.

Hurray !!!!!!!!!!!!

Lois and Clark and no word fight !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just loved that Lois finally let herself go, and confides herself to Clark. That was touching !And this hug ! Aaaaw, cutest thing ever ! Talking about Ollie she says : « He has this one side I am not sure I can live with ». And when you think she gonna marry Superman ! Cute !

Conclusion :

Very good episode and great guest stars : Justin Hartley & Alaina Kalanj did great performance. Two thumbs up for Kristin Kreuk and Tom Welling, whose characters finally grew up, thinking & acting like two adults.

Smallville 7.10 « Persona »

5/5 (A+)

I don't know for you, LJ buddies, but this hiatus seemed ev-er-las-ting !

My patience was highly rewarded though. Persona was a terrific episode. No disappointment, you have my words.

This season of Smallville reminds me of the third : darker, more mature, and complex…Smallville is no more teenage drama.

At the present time, as I wrote this review, the strike is still going on. It's too bad SV ends on episode 15.

Mr Gough & M, Millar, please end this strike RIGHT NOW !!!!!

Back to our buisness, now, Bizarro, still making himself out being Clark, takes fully advantage of newly life. And I weigh my words : he sleeps with Lana.

One could think « M, Crackled face » is fully disgusting. But, yet, Lana has never been so happy. Because the guy not only shares his physical and strenght with Clark, he also shares his memories and his love for Lana.

Yet, Bizarro has some difficulties to hide his true nature as when he joins Chloe at the Daily Planet. One ce again, it seems the lady knwos Clark better than anyone (that is to say better than her long lasting love interest Lana). God Bless Chloe. Even if she wasn't that much present on screen, she is definitly a great character. And gee…her makeup and wardrobe are stunning !

Well, even if Lana gained confidence and computer skills (don't even think one second to become Clark's side kick, lady, This post is Chloe's !), her naivety is sickenning ! How can she be so superficial, all that counts for her is her hapinness : «Clark has never been so understanding », bla, bla, bla…Gee…this woman is beyond redemption.

Yet, Kristin gave a wonderful performance, especially in the scene where she faces Bizarro and Clark. What a tearing dilemna between the man she loves and the guy who gave her all that she ever wanted. And the truth is Bizarro just knows what is in Clark's mind. But saying, Clark isn't in love with Lana…

But she chooses Clark and wonders, as they both lie, in bed at the end of the episode, if she made the right choice.

Tom Welling was great but sexier as Bizarro than in Clark Kent, especially when he threatens Brainiac « to finish the job. Aah…those eyes, and these lovely teeth !

Meanwhile, Julian tells Lionel that he is, in fact, his dead son Julian. His reaction is really surprising because he fully accepted Julian/ Grant and wants to know him better. It is sweet to see this softer side of Lionel. He looks Julian in the eyes in a very affetionate way. The scene they share together-Lionel holding Grant's head between his head, saying he doesn't care how he came to earth- before Julian/grant is shot, is even cutter and heart breaking when Lionel holds his dead son, again. It was, however, cute to see a father/son relationship without tension, murder, twotime plans and trichery. Too bad, Grand had to pass away.

Michael Cassidy delivered a great performance. Especially during his word fight with Lex.

John glover is excellent too, well, it's no suprise. I think his discovering Lex secret projects would lead to a withdrawal. In the comics, Lex's father is mentionned. Seeing his son following a wrong path, he decided to change his name from Luthor to an anagram. « It's you that I lost, It's you that I lost ». It seems like Lionel has a conscience. John Glover just played very well how much Lionel is outraged. Great performance !

I am sure this detail didn't slipped you out, but the kryptonian super badass A.I is back ! Still, witty, charming, sarcastic and with this little evil sparkle in his eyes.

The play between the colors – very warm in the Kent's farm and blue/grey/black in the streets of Metropolis- stress the disturbing side of Brainiac. Bizarro needs him to destroy Kal-El, still trapped in the fortress. It is the occasion for Brainiac to ask Bizarro for help. He needs to find Dax-Ur, a kryptoniangeek that could « repair » Brainiac. Dax-Ur remained on Earth after his arrival and decided to give up his powers to live his life with his blonde wife and kid. Ready for anything, Brainiac eventually makes himself out to be Lionel when Clark visits him at LuthorCorp. And the genius leads Brainiac straight to Dax-Ur (when he uses the kryptonian key). The Kryptonian A.I finally managed to kill Dax-Ur and regenerates himself.

The last but not the least, Lex Luthor. Isn't it boring to say that Michael is the greatest actor television has ever known and that he is sexy as hell. Cheecky with Lionel « I only did what you never had the guts to do ». And when Lionel told him he is the son he've lost, he lowers his eyes as a little boy.

Even what he did is depraved, how could we blame him for wanting some compagny ?

And that scene with Grant Gabriel ! Wow, word fight. Grant/Julian is quite harsh to him « you're so lonely and pathetic you have to build yourself a brother ». But we all know what he is saying is somehow the truth- « Lex only looks out for Lex ». But Lex strikes back by saying Grant is « grateful son of a bitch ». So sexy…

Grant 1 – Lex 0.

It always bothers me to forgive Lex eveytime he acts bad. He had his brother shot, goddam !!!!!! Four times !!! But, yet, I'm not resentful. I'm not saying he had the right to take Grant's life, but he is not yet this total psycho anthipathic freak : he cries his dead brother.

Terrific episode. Too bad Grant Gabriel has to go away…

Interesting article…

  • Jan. 20th, 2008 at 3:44 PM

I was looking for crispy news about Michael Rosenbaum.

I am quite aware of everything about Michael thanks to my LJ buddie, Hamlat.

But, today, I found this :

http://www.topsynergy.net/request-celebrities-famous-figures/925-michael-rosenbaum.html

I was quite happy to learn more about Michael's relation with women. But when i read this :

"He has dated and gone out and bedded other models and porn people as well"

I was a bit upset…Well, don't you think this staement is a bit harsh ? It seems like he is such a pig…And I'm sure Michael's not like that ! Yes, I'm not very objective but…Well…

Laughs.

Nevermind.

I recently bought the new issue of Sv mag and I am exc-ta-tic ! there's a long interview of Erica durance and Michael Rosenbaum. agreat article named The Farmboy & the Bilionnaire (about lex & Clark relationship…This title looks like a gay porn movie, don't you think ?).

Good time

Gossip Girl

1*13 A thin line between Nates and Chuck (Season finale due to WGA strike – 5/5)

« What's the difference between gossip and scandal ? So glad you asked. Anyone can commit a minor indecrition and generate a day's worse of buzz. But in order for gossip to birth a true scandal, it requires a right person to be in the wrong place. »

Gossip Girl.

Gossip Girl caught Serena red handed buying a pregnancy test.

Just in a glimpse, the photos taken in the drugstore created a huge buzz : the rumor of S's pregnancy spreads fast.

Dan, whose sister's happenned to be surfing on GG's blog, freaks out thinking he could soon become a teenage father but eventually decides to take his responsabilities.

He then meets Serena and tells her he loves her whatever he decided to do with her baby. But Serena is not pregnant : she is in fact covering Blair.

The lattest doesn't seem to take this situation seriously until her mother catches a conversation she had with Serena.

Looking for advice, Serena confies to Dan, saying Chuck might be the father. Dan thinks Chuck have to know. Unfortunetly, Jenny was peeping behind the door.

This gossip is the chance for Jenny to have thr upper hand on Blair, « who had never really been her friend anyway », according to her.

Chuck later denies he is the father of B's hypotetic baby because he « took care of his buisness ». When Blair and him finally met, she tells him she is not pregnant and that Chuck had no reason to blackmail her anymore. Hurt, Chuck send a texto to Gossip girl, saying blair has been sleeping with two guys in a row.

This scnadal spreads fast : Queen B, is « dethroned » by her former crew and cast away, has a fight with Serena and is dismissed by Nates and Chuck.

The latter , who was told by Jenny about the whole « Bluck » story, bullied Chuck and put an end to their friendship.

Dan realizes that Serena may have misunderstood his saying « I love you ». He decided to tell Serena he loves her, putting aside the whole baby story. Serena, who believed Dan may have told Jenny about Chuck and Blair, had no response. She later has a conversation with her younger brother Eric. He tells her Jenny may have peeped behind a door, like younger siblings usually do.

She runs to Dan's house, wanting to know why he loves her. One of the reasons he does is that Serena can love a guy like him and still be friend with Blair.

Meanwhile, Blair decided to go to Paris to begin a new life. But she is stopped by Serena who tell her not to make the same mistake she did before : leaving without telling anyone. Serena reminds Blair she is a Waldrof and that she can face anything. Serena also tells Blair they are friends and that she would help her facing people's judgments, as Blair did when Serena returned in NYC.

Rufus decided to move on and have a second chance with Beck to whom he's been introduced thanks to Lily. Serena's mother went on vacation in south Africa with Bart.

Best (well quite cruel !) lines :

  • Blair: What are you doing here?
    Jenny: I was just leaving.
Hazel: No, stay. Blair, given that you can barely manage your own messy affairs, surely, you're not in a position to tell anyone where they can and can't eat.
Blair: Do you realize who you're talking to?
Penny: You mean the self-righteous b*itch, who always sat on her own high horse judging everyone else?
    Hazel: Pregnant little hypocrite.
Blair: Not that it's any of your business, but I'm not pregnant.
    Penny: Nate must be thrilled.
    Hazel: Chuck, too.
Blair: What are you talking about?
Penny: The whole school saw them throwing down over your cheap ass.
Hazel: The boyfriend and the best friend? Pretty classy. Consider yourself dethroned, Queen B.

  • Serena: Morning!
    Dorota: Good morning, Miss Serena.
Serena: Anybody notice the weather, today?
    Blair: What?
Serena: Take a look outside, B. My first response would be that the sky is a clear blue, easy.

  • Gossip Girl: Looks like the Virgin Queen isn't as pure as she pretended to be. Who's your Daddy, B? Baby Daddy that is? Two guys in one week? Talk about doing the nasty, or should I just say being nasty

  • Serena: (to Blair) Like you said, you're a Waldorf. You don't let people tell you who you are, you show them

  • Blair: I came to congratulate you in person. You ruined my relationship with Nate, Serena, all of my friends. Even Little Jenny thinks she's too good for me. So, bravo! Just like you wanted. I have no one to turn to, but you.
Chuck: Actually, you don't even have me.
    Blair: (thinking he's joking) Enough.
Chuck: I'll try to be more succinct. You held a certain fascination when you were beautiful, delicate, and untouched. But now you're like one of the Arabians my father used to own; rode hard and put away wet. I don't want you anymore. And I can't see why anyone else would.
